Camilo Vasquez Music serves weddings and events throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding communities, including Dallas, Fort Worth, McKinney, Frisco, Plano, Richardson, Allen, Denton, and other nearby cities. Travel outside the immediate DFW area is also available depending on the event.
What ensemble should I choose for my wedding?
The best ensemble depends on your venue, guest count, musical style, and budget. Solo cello creates an intimate sound, while duos and trios add more musical depth without requiring the space or budget of a full quartet. String quartets provide the fullest traditional string sound. We're happy to recommend an option based on your event.
Can we choose our own wedding songs?
Yes. Clients are welcome to choose specific songs from our repertoire or tell us the style they want and let us curate the music. Custom song requests may also be available with enough advance notice.
Do you provide music while guests are arriving?
Yes. Wedding ceremony bookings can include prelude music while guests arrive, music for the processional and entrances, ceremony moments when needed, the recessional, and postlude music as guests exit.
Can you perform outdoors?
Yes. Outdoor performances are available when appropriate protection from weather, direct sunlight, and unsafe conditions is provided for the musicians and instruments. Amplification can also be available when needed.
Can you provide musicians for both the ceremony and cocktail hour?
Yes. We can provide live music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, or both, and can help plan a repertoire that transitions naturally between the two parts of your wedding.
